Our Mission To support the work of local, national and international organizations in community development, alleviating poverty and hunger, disaster relief, educational, child-assistance, environmental, health improvement and medical research efforts through fundraising adventure trips. To promote cross-cultural exchange by connecting people to share customs, languages, ideas and experiences.                                                                                                                                                                                   Priscilla Ma Our Beginnings    Prolific Adventures, LLC was launched in January 2005 by Priscilla Ma, after  returning from a 14 month backpacking journey across Australia, New Zealand, Southeast Asia and Southern Africa. During her travels, Priscilla volunteered in a school on a Thai island and in a centre for street children in a village in Mozambique. She experienced first-hand how volunteers and donors can make a tremendous difference in local organizations by the simplest tasks and humblest contributions. After spending more than 10 years as a marketing and advertising professional in New York, Priscilla wanted to utilize her business and marketing expertise to assist organizations in generating awareness about global social, economic and environmental issues. When she returned to the United States, Priscilla researched business concepts that would combine her passion for travel and the non-profit sector. No one company appeared to provide adventure travel with the aim of raising funds for charities. Hence, Prolific Adventures was born. Prolific Adventures provides affordable, memorable and inspirational travel experiences while generating awareness and raising funds for organizations involved in community development, alleviating poverty and hunger, environmental preservation, child-assistance, medical research, disaster relief and other worthy causes. Our Results Our current fundraising efforts are assisting The National Ability Center and i-India. Your Donations The price of each adventure trip includes a donation to the charities we support and 100% of your donation goes directly to fund the charities' programs. After expenses and local trip operators are paid, each adventure trip results in more money being raised for the charities than profit generated for Prolific Adventures. Our Adventure Trips We believe a true travel experience involves learning about the culture and mixing with the local communities. Wherever possible, we will show you where your donations are being contributed and how they are being utilized, so you will be able to meet local people and learn from them. Our trips are fun, comfortable and modest. We are not a costly, high-end luxury travel company so if you're looking for 5-star accommodations and pampering, you won't find it here. Most of our adventures involve outdoor activities and camping. You don't have to be an experienced camper - just someone who enjoys being out in nature and challenging yourself a little, physically, spiritually and mentally. Our Partners Prolific Adventures works with local community charities in each country and with national and international organizations - wherever assistance is needed to make the largest and deepest impact. Our local adventure trip operators and guides have been carefully selected to provide exceptionally enjoyable and memorable travel experiences.
